Obituary- Beaver Young

R.V. “Beaver” Young of Sparta, Tennessee passed away on May 16, 2023 at his home surrounded by family. Mr. Young is the father of horse trainer Randy Young. WHTA Auxiliary Scholarships

The Walking Horse Trainers’ Auxiliary Scholarship applications are now being accepted. These are available for both undergraduate and graduate students. For more information, contact Beth Thomas (931-580-6825) or Kari Tisma (678-576-1290). Applications must be received or postmarked by June 15th. The scholarships will be presented at the Money Tree Classic on June 30th.



TWHBEA Announces $2,500 Youth Challenge Cup for Halter Classes

WHTA Makes Charitable Contributions

Obituary- Tam Brogdon

The Scoop is saddened to learn the passing of Tam Brogdon. Tamela (Tam) Brogdon (Tallahassee , Panama City, St Augustine, Florida) was the daughter of Lynda Brogdon, and the late Ben Brogdon. SCHS Tennis Teams Horse Show Adds Class
