USDA Gives Outline of Mandatory Penalties

The SHOW Rules committee recently suggested a change to the rulebook which addresses class procedure and the requirements and limitations for how horses enter the ring to begin the class. The SHOW HIO recently received a recommendation from its Rules Committee to change the “Relative of a Professional” designation in its 2023 updated rulebook. WHTA will again host an Amateur Judging competition on Wednesday and Thursday Nights. Three amateur judges will be selected to tie 4 different classes. Heidi Davis and Dan Waddell were united in marriage on February 4, 2023 at Saddle Woods Farm in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. March 18, 2023 is the Walking Horse Trainers’ Association license renewal deadline. The end of the National Trainers’ Show on this date will close the renewal period. Any renewals made after March 18th will be $250, no exceptions. For more information, you may call the WHTA office at 931-684-5866.
