New Horse Show In Shelbyville

The Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders’ and Exhibitors’ Association has announced plans for a new horse show coming to Shelbyville. The TWHBEA Summer Sizzler will take place on July 25th at 5:00 PM in the Calsonic Arena. Mark your calendars and make plans to support this inaugural event.

Obituary – Ernest Upton

Ernest Lee Upton, age 64 of Shelbyville, passed away on Friday, April 26, 2019. He was born in McMinnville on March 10, 1955 to the late Carson Walker and Betty Sue (Kell) Upton. Ernest had been a professional Tennessee Walking Horse trainer since high school graduation, Even as a youngster he enjoyed working with horses.
