Perdue Confirmed as Ag Secretary

On Monday, April 24, 2017 the U.S. Senate confirmed Sonny Perdue will serve as Agriculture Secretary. His confirmation came following a vote of 87-11. The former governor of Georgia will now lead the United States Department of Agriculture. Perdue was President Donald Trump’s highly favored choice since before the Trump inauguration.
