The Walking Horse Trainers’ Youth Council will be hosting a fund raising even at the Tunica Fall Classic Show. This will provide Christmas for needy children in Bedford County. The Walking Horse Trainers’ Association will host the 48th Annual National Trainers’ Show on March 17-19, 2016 at the Calsonic Arena in Shelbyville, Tennessee.

The Walking Horse Trainers’ Association will put on the 18th Annual Gulf Coast Charity Trainers’ Show this year and will be the weekend of April 21-23, 2015. The show will move back to the popular Gulf Coast of Florida in Panama City Beach.

The Walking Horse Industry lost on of its greats the morning of November 3, 2015. He’s Vida Blue died from complications from colic. He’s Vida Blue is the reigning Reserve Tennessee Walking Horse World Grand Champion as well as from 2013. His last win came the first weekend in October at the North Carolina Championship
