LEWISBURG, Tenn. — To better serve our loyal customers’ needs, the Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders’ and Exhibitors’ Association (TWHBEA) is extending its Lewisburg, Tenn., office hours during the Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration. The registry staff will be available at the headquarters building in Lewisburg to process paperwork both weeks of the horse show, Monday through Friday from 8 to 5 and Saturday from 8 to 12.

“Traditionally, this is a time when many of our out of town customers renew their memberships and file registration applications and transfers,” said TWHBEA Executive Director Tracy Boyd. “We want all our customers to continue that tradition and Mrs. Rambo, Mrs. Rodgers and Mrs. Walker have gladly agreed to work extended hours here in Lewisburg to service all of your registry needs. We invite everyone to make the short drive to Lewisburg. We look forward to seeing you.”

The Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders’ and Exhibitors’ Association (TWHBEA), headquartered in Lewisburg, Tennessee, is the oldest and most prestigious organization devoted to the promotion of the breed. Founded in 1935, the breed registry was established to record the pedigrees of the Tennessee Walking Horse. Its goal is to maintain the purity of the breed, to promote greater awareness of the Tennessee Walking Horse and its qualities, to encourage expansion of the breed, and to help assure its general welfare.
