The Walking Horse Trainers Association, Inc., and the Gulf Coast Charity Celebration Association, Inc., is pleased to announce a new joint venture between the Gulf Coast Charity Horse Show and the Walking Horse Trainers Association, by unanimous vote of the Trainers, so that the Walking Horse Trainers Association can, of behalf of the industry, continue the 15th Annual Gulf Coast Charity Horse Show, which will now be the Gulf Coast Charity Trainers’ Show, to be held April 25-27, 2013, the last full weekend in April each year which contains the last Sunday in April, in Panama City Beach, Florida. The Celebration commends both groups in coming together to ensure the continuance of this quality show. Everyone is encouraged to bring their horses and have fun in the sun and on the beach so that this commitment will continue each year.

This is a great effort and commitment for the Trainers, but trainers need the help of all the owners and exhibitors to help by bringing horses and helping with sponsorships. Everyone should “step up” to keep this a viable venue to showcase our horses and call Dee Cantrell, 706-366-1011 or 334-297-2771, to join in helping support this beach venue, the only beach venue in our industry. The commitment of both organizations to continue the show is to be applauded and is a great commitment to the industry and an expression of their belief that the industry will move forward this year and in the years to come with great success.

So the “15 Annual Gulf Coast Charity is on!” “Bring ‘Em On!” There will be great food and music and vendors, as always, and the Trainers will be in charge of Center Ring. Everyone is encouraged to keep this show afloat.
