Frank Dietrich

Frank Dietrich, age 76, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas was born November 3, 1935. He passed away on October 23, 2012. Mr. Dietrich was an avid horseman within the Walking Horse and Racking Horse Industry. He was a sales representative and was retired from Tamko Roofing Company. Mr. Dietrich was known nationally for authoring the first comprehensive rule book of the Racking Horse Breeders Association. He was voted “Horseman of the Year,” in 1977-1978 for his dedication to the Racking Horse Breeders Association. Mr. Dietrich was the Executive Vice President of the National Association, and in his fifteen years at that post he chaired every committee. His son Chuck Dietrich and grandson Blake are both avid horse enthusiasts as well. They continue Frank’s love and support of the Tennessee Walking Horse and Racking Horse. Frank enjoyed his last day at the barn with Chuck and Blake watching the show horses work. The Scoop sends its condolences to the Dietrick family on the loss of a great horse person.
