Advertising Sales Representative for Kentucky
My name is Colby Rice. I am from Grayson, Kentucky. I was raised by my mother, Lori Lewis along with Donnie Oppenheimer. Both sides of my family go back generations in the Walking and Racking Horse Associations. I have shown padded horses since I was three years old, as well as, an occasional pleasure horse. I have been honored to grow up showing two great horses, Dark Horse Candidate and JFK’s Protégé. Throughout the years, I got to help my mom when she covered for The Scoop.

I am currently a sophomore at Morehead State University where I am pursuing a degree in Agriculture Education and Equine Science. At Morehead State, I am on their equestrian team where I compete on the hunt seat and western teams. I am super excited for the 2021 show season where I will get to show Mr. Joe Gills in the amateur divisions, along with meeting great people while working for The Scoop.
