Trump Nominates Perdue as Secretary of Agriculture

President Trump chose former Georgia governor Sonny Perdue to be his secretary of agriculture. Thursday morning, January 19th they formally announced the pick. Perdue served as Governor of Georgia from 2003-2011.
He has a strong agricultural background he grew up on a farm and earned a doctorate in veterinary medicine and practiced veterinary medicine and has owned agriculture businesses.
