The Tennessee Walking Horse industry recently got a visit from two Tennessee politicians. Congressman Scot DesJarlais and Senator Marsha Blackburn took time out of their busy schedules to show their support for the Walking Horse industry. DesJarlais made a stop on January 19th to Callaway Stables in Shelbyville to discuss the industry and the current legislative and regulatory environments in Washington D.C. During his visit, the congressman took a quick ride on World Champion Nevermore.
Senator Blackburn made her stop at The Celebration, discussing the same legislature with industry officials. Both politicians are great supporters of the Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration, as well as every aspect of the entire Walking Horse industry.
