Obituary- Harold Roberts

Harold Roberts of Van Buren, Missouri, born in Hale, Missouri, passed away on September 12, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving behind his beloved family and friends.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Bernice Roberts (Gilford) and Floyd Roberts (Hoss); and his sister Harlene Mitchell. He is survived by : his wife Sherry K. Roberts; his children, Terrell Roberts of Charlotte, Le Anne Wagley (Henry) of Cumby, Texas and Kyndra Myers (Andy) of Birch Tree, Missouri; his step-daughter Cynthia Austin (Ross) of Jackson Missouri; his grandchildren, Jerrod Roberts (Kim) of Piedmont, Missouri, Justin Roberts (Kim) of Ellsinore, Missouri, Jessica May (Clark) of Cumby, Texas, Leslie Wagley of Haslet, Texas, Caleb Myers of Birch Tree, Missouri, Sarina, Damaris and Kaija Roberts of Germany; his great grandchildren, Conner, Kyle, Lily Roberts, Addison, Brooklyn, Emma Mays, Caden Powell, Elina Roberts and Desi; his uncles, Bill and Fizz; and his pets, Pollyanna, Skipper, Scooter, Doberman and Desi.
A graveside service was held on Friday, October 1st at the Yount Memorial Cemetery.
Harold was a great family man whom he loved dearly. Spending time with his family, grandchildren and great grandchildren was his priority. When not with them, he could be found with his horses or farming. Harold raised Tennessee Walking Horses for over 30 years with his family, and was a lifetime member of the Tennessee Walking Horse Owners Association. In 2016, he won two World Championship titles and a Reserve World Grand Championship title on his late Tennessee Walking Horse, All About That Jose.
