Brenda L. Tyree of Rocky Mount, Virgina was born July 21, 1947 and passed from this life on Friday, June 14, 2019. She was 71 years old. Preceding her in death were her father Walter L. Tyree, mother Christine Tyree and granddaughter, Ashley Trail.

Brenda is survived by her sister: Rebecca McCall, sons: Todd Carter, Sterling Carter and friend, Kathy Riddleberger, special friend: Eddie Tuck, grandchildren: Bradley Carter, Marcus Carter and Emily, Matthew Carter and friend Ashley, great-grandchildren: Stella and Walter Carter, dogs: Sassy and Bandit; many horses and lots of special friends.

Funeral services were conducted at Glade Hill Baptist Church with Rev. David Long officiating. Interment followed in the Tyree Family Cemetery. The Scoop sends our deepest sympathy to the Tyree Family.
