Lewisburg, TN – As the most prestigious and commemorated showcase for young Tennessee Walking Horses in our industry, the Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders’ And Exhibitors’ Association (TWHBEA) National Futurity provides breeders with the perfect opportunity to establish their foals’ place in the annals of the Tennessee Walking Horse breed. Foals nominated to the National Futurity not only have the opportunity to compete, for up to four years, for some of the largest purses in the industry, they are also eligible to have their names, breeding details and breeders’ names recorded for posterity in the National Futurity program. Nominated weanlings, yearlings, two year olds and three year olds are more recognizable and more valuable.

A truly stellar event, the National Futurity shines the brightest spotlight possible on our youngest breed ambassadors and their breeders. Breeders and the stock they produce are the foundation of our industry and no event does more to promote their cause than the National Futurity. The 2012 edition of this history-making event, scheduled for the evening of July 19 at Miller Coliseum in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, promises excitement and entertainment. The greatest young horses our breed has to offer will be showcased. Act now and ensure that your foal has a place in this National Futurity and those to come. Remember, in order to show at the National Futurity as a yearling, two year old or three year old, a horse must be nominated as a weanling.
