The NCWHA, the Culbreth Family, and the Mosley Family are proud to sponsor the NCWHA Scholarship program. The Michael Culbreth Family and the NCWHA each award one scholarship. This year, thanks to the support and your generosity to our 50-50 Raffle, this year the NCWHA will present additional scholarships.
The Michael Culbreth Family is proud to present the Lynn Culbreth Memorial Scholarship to Mr. Carson Adams. Carson is the son of Chad Adams and Stephanie Adams and a senior at Princeton High School. Carson plans to pursue a degree in Agriculture at Mt. Olive College in order to continue his involvement in the Tennessee Walking Horse industry. Carson shows regularly at the NCWHA shows and his wins include world championships.
The NCWHA Ronald Mosley Memorial Scholarship is presented by Dr. William Mosley to Ms. Hailey Puckett. Hailey is the daughter of Johnny and Holly Puckett. A graduate of University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a B.S. in Exercise Science and a Master degree in Public Health, Hailey is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Nursing at Vanderbilt University. Hailey’s early show ring career included wins in the 11 and under class at the NCCWHS.
The NCWHA is proud to award 2 additional scholarships this year. The Dr. William G. Mosley Scholarship is presented by Dr. Mosley in appreciation for the support of the NCWHA and the extended family in this industry as he pursued his education. He is proud to award this scholarship to Taylor Strickler. Taylor is the daughter of Kelly & Teresa Strickler. She is a senior at West Ridge High School and plans to attend Northeast Community College to pursue a degree in Pre-Radiography. Taylor has shown in East Tennessee and North Carolina throughout her youth.
Thanks to the generosity of our spectators, trainers, owners, and exhibitors; the NCWHA is able to award a 50-50 Scholarship this year. Show manager, Audrey Safriet is proud to present this scholarship to Savannah “Mei Li” Straka. Mei Li is the daughter of Dr. & Mrs. William Straka . Mei Li is currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration at UNC-Chapel Hill and shows in both the pleasure and performance divisions.
