Lewisburg, TN – As we approach the last four months of 2012, the Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders’ And Exhibitors’ Association (TWHBEA) has several important dates of which Tennessee Walking Horse breeders and owners should be aware. These dates are:

September 30
• Deadline for nomination of all current year weanlings to the National Futurity.

October 1
• All stallion reports must be postmarked by this date.
• New foal crop registration begins.

October 15
• Deadline for annual election ballots to be returned.

December 31
• Expiration date for outstanding blood typing kits and blood type to DNA conversion kits.
• Last day to take advantage of special TWHBEA negotiated rates for converting parentage verification from blood type to DNA.
