Henry Lee Arnold Jr.

PARKSVILLE, KY – Henry “Lee” Arnold, Jr., 67, was called home to be with our Lord on Sunday, September 23, 2012. Lee was born November 29, 1944 in Boyle County, the son of the late Henry Lee, Sr. and Georgia Roberts Arnold.



Mr. Arnold was retired after 20 years of service with the Kentucky State Police where he earned the Meritorious Service for Bravery Award and many letters of commendation from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Kentucky State Police, and Office of the Governor. He was a licensed Tennessee Walking Horse judge and trained and showed horses. He was an ordained Baptist minister and was currently serving at Beechfork Baptist Church in Marion County, for the past 12 years. His greatest joy in life was to tell others about Jesus.



Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Peggy Arnold, a son Heath O’Brian Arnold and a brother, Kenneth Arnold and his wife Barbara. 



Funeral services were at 11:00AM Thursday, September 27, 2012, at Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home with Revs. Al Taylor and Dale Denton officiating. Burial followed at Parksville Cemetery. Visitation was Wednesday from 5 – 8PM at the funeral home. 



Pallbearers were Larry Bennett, Jason Hughes, Robert Stannard, Rick Westerfield, Alonzo Napier, and Brandon Sargent.



Honorary bearers were Dr. and Mrs. Jim Clontz, Gary and Brenda Gorley, Danny Hughes, Dr. Thomas Jackson, and Faithful Members of Beechfork Baptist Church.
