The Bourne Legacy was humanely laid to rest on June 6, 2017 following a long treatment from an injury. The beautiful black stallion was owned by Brad and Trish Harrison.
The Bourne Legacy was loved by many Walking Horse enthusiasts after claiming attention as a three year old stallion. At the 2013 Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration, Bill Callaway directed the young stallion to the Three Year Old Stallion Sec. A World Championship and returned to the ring claiming the Three Year Old World Grand Championship title. In 2014 The Bourne Legacy once again claimed World Championship honors by taking the blue in the Four Year Old Stallions Class. The Scoop sends our warmest thoughts to the Harrison Family. He was a great ambassador of our beloved Tennessee Walking Horse.
