Reserve World Grand Champion, Hard Mountain Cash was laid to rest humanely on February 23, 2014. He was the 13 year old stallion by Coins Hard Cash. Hard Mountain Cash was selected by Paul Robbins to be his Amateur mount in 2012. He was the North Carolina and South Carolina Championships winner and Columbia Spring Jubilee champion this year. Paul and Hard Mountain Cash had an unforgettable show ring career filled with blues in the Amateur Owned & Trained divisions as well as Amateur classes. Hard Mountain Cash was The Scoop’s Scoop Selection winner this year in the Amateur Owned & Trained division voted by the readers. This horse was a crowd favorite and loved by many, but most of all loved by Paul he wasn’t only his champion, he was his friend. The Scoop’s sends its apologies to the Robbins family on their great loss.
