Multi-titled Watch Me Closely, affectionately known as “George”, was humanely laid to rest on Sunday June 9, 2013, following a sudden, severe episode of colic. He was owned, loved, and shown by Beth Sanford of Milan, TN, and trained by Brad Beard Stables. He was a beautiful chestnut 15.2h stallion competed in both open and amateur ranks, and his most recent win was the Upper Cumberland Walking Horse Show Stake Class in Cookville, TN with his trainer Brad Beard aboard. George was loved very dearly and he will be missed by all who knew him.
