Mr. and Mrs. Robert Adcock of Lititz, Pennsylvania, proudly announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Adcock, to Christopher Young, Esq., son of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Young of Marianna, Florida.

Ashley is a 2005 graduate of Manheim Central High School and a 2008 graduate of the Art Institute where she earned a degree in Interior Design. She is currently employed by Adcock Brothers Inc. in Manheim, Pennsylvania.

Ashley rides and shows Tennessee Walking Horses. She won her first world championship in 2001 aboard Guaranteed Delight in the Novice Show Pleasure division. The team also went on to win the 2001 Juvenile Show Pleasure Reserve World Champion title and the 2003 Juvenile Show Pleasure World Championship title. She currently has horses with Chad Baucom Stables.

Chris is a 1995 graduate of Grand Ridge High School, a 1997 graduate of Chipola College, a 1999 graduate of Florida State University and a 2003 graduate of Louisiana State University Law Center. Mr. Young is a senior partner at Perry & Young Law Firm in Panama City, Florida

The couple was introduced by Martha ‘Sister’ Milligan at The Gulf Coast Charity Horse Show in 2008.  They are planning a September 7th wedding at The Grand Hotel in Sandestin Florida
