Clant Seay tries to stop Panama City Horse Show

In other business, the council listened to a man who said the city should not allow the 18th annual Gulf Coast Charity Horse Show & Music Festival at Frank Brown Park this year.
Clant Seay, of Citizens Campaign Against Big Lick Animal Cruelty, told them in his campaign that the practices used in the show are cruel to the Tennessee Walking Horses. Council members agreed they would listen to Seay’s comments and consider them.
Tennessee Walking Horse Trainers Association said the show is to show off the beautiful Tennessee Walking Horses and that these shows benefit many charities.
