Obituary – Frank McWhorter

Frank “Kentucky Gambler” McWhorter passed away August 31, 2020. He was 72 years old. The Gallatin, Tennessee resident was born September 20, 1947 in Albany, Kentucky to parents Fred and Margie Bell McWhorter. His parents precede him in death, as well as, a son Shane McWhorter and grandson Keith Patton. Survivors include his devoted wife of 43 years, Marsha McWhorter; sons, Donnie Patton, Rusty Patton and Mike Patton; grandchildren, Chad Patton, Cody Patton, Shawn Patton, Mitch Patton, Trent Patton and Kobe McWhorter; brother, Jim McWhorter; sister, Sara McWhorter; great grandchildren, Landynn Patton, Kadence Patton and Benjamin Patton; several nieces and nephews.

Frank was owner and operator of B & M Trucking since 1994. He was a member of Gallatin Country Club, was an avid golfer, Tennessee Walking Horses, loved trucking and RVing and was a Tennessee Walking Horse supporter.

Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 4th at the Alexander Funeral Home & Cremation Center. Interment will follow in Sumner Memorial Gardens. The Scoop sends our deepest sympathies to the McWhorter Family.
