The SHOW HIO has promoted experienced DQP (Designated Qualified Person) John Paul Riner to the position of Head DQP. The position became available following the resignation of Mitchell Butler.
Riner began as a DQP in 2010, and has worked in inspection for the majority of the industry’s major horse shows including The Celebration. With this promotion, Riner will be responsible for training DQPs, working with the USDA, assigning DQPs, handling complaints and working with the Celebration board to ensure the responsibilities of the HIO are being met.
