On the morning of May 24, the Executive Committee of the Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders’ and Exhibitors’ Association voted to request that the Celebration resign from the Unity Committee. The Celebration Board and Unity Committee member, David Howard, were informed of the Executive Committee’s decision. The Unity Committee was scheduled to meet on the afternoon of May 24, followed by a “Meet and Greet” function on the grounds of the Celebration in the Blue Ribbon Circle.
