Ronnie “Hippy” Stevens, well-known throughout the walking horse industry, has been diagnosed with cancer.  He has no insurance and is in need of support, both emotionally and financially, from his friends in the walking horse business.  A benefit pot luck dinner will be held for him on Sunday, May 13th, at the Sale of Champions pavilion on Whitthorne Street beginning at 5:00 p.m. in Shelbyville, Tenn.  PLEASE mark your calendar and make plans to attend bringing your favorite dish and financial contribution.  For those of you who cannot attend, you may send cards and messages to “Hippy” at 200 Oakwood Drive, Shelbyville, TN 37160.
