The Kiwanis Club and the Walking Horse Owners Association, both of Murfreesboro joined together recently to host the 24th Annual Tennessee Walking Horse Show to benefit The Good Shepherd Home of Murfreesboro.

With horse owners and Murfreesboro business sponsors support, the event was a great success. Students from the Good Shepherds Home enjoyed a beautiful day and for many their first encounter with a Tennessee Walking Horse.

Hard working members of the Kiwanis Association assisted WHOA staff to assure that all proceeds from the event would benefit the home for children. The show was held on Barfield Crescent Road in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
