The Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders’ and Exhibitors’ Association International Board of Directors approved the first major fee schedule change since 1998. The new rates’ effective date is January 3, 2017.

The 2017 Trainers Show will be held on March 16-18 at the Calsonic Arena in Shelbyville, Tennessee. The judges for the event are Wayne Dean, Jason Hughes and David Sisk.

Out of an awareness of the many Tennessee Walking Horses throughout the country that are at risk and in a desire to offer help, the Tennessee Walking Horse Foundation is proud to announce that a fund has been established to assist in the rescue and foster of those horses. The WHAA Barn Party Auction will be held February 18, 2017 at 10:00 am. The event will be held at the Celebration Arena in Priceville, Alabama.

David Lee Howard, 72, of Shelbyville, Tenn., passed away Saturday, December 17, at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.
