You idiots did it to yourselves. All for a blue ribbon…. I hope now something will be done about this abuse. I worked for a vet in north ala and seen countless abuse to these beautiful animals by big name people in this industry. J mcconnell got what he deserved. Now somebody needs to put that caustic material on his legs and heat wrap it. See if he likes it and will pick his feet up nice and high…

This sick abuse has to stop. There is no excuse for it, NONE.

I despise the HSUS, PETA and all the rest of the nutjobs, but don’t you dare
blame anyone but yourselves for supporting this crap.

I raised my mare from a weanling, trained her myself and trail rode her for 10 years. She NEVER even had one set of shoes.

Thank you, that there is finally some questioning to this whole video. I screamed and pushed on blogs and media for why the sheriff wasn’t called immediately. If a child is seen being abused, does one go to ABC and expose the abuser, NO, you go right to the law and get charges brought. We DO have laws and lawmen, like Bedford county’s sheriff Boyce who would respond correctly immediately. I do not see why charges by the county this video occured, is not being brought to McConnel, grooms AND the video taker for not reporting the abuse. He was probobly cheering it on in order to get better goods. Where is the owner, where are the lawsuits. And thank you for emphasizing that HSUS is NOT The Humane Society, the press I believe deliberately misleads this facts and HSUS encourages this for thier own gain. Further, it should be noted that HSUS is under investigation by the IRS for question of $11 mill and their 501C status. And hurt the backyard Walkers for sale? You bet. What is being done by the Industry powers- to- be for the breeders that breed and sell to the pleasure not ever to show market. Every call I received for my palomino has come with questions about whether she was sored. It has really hurt sales and a pushback lawsuit may be in order in some fashion.
