Raised by Kasey Kesselring, “Whitey” was a once in a lifetime mare that took many children to the winners’ circle safely, including Kailin Kesselring’s first set of roses at the Spotted Championships. From a broodmare, to a lesson horse at Montverde Academy in Florida, to a safe show ring mount for any level rider, she was definitely everyone’s once in a lifetime mare.
During her passing, which was due to a twisted colon, Whitey resided in Petersburg, Tennessee with The Mike and Leighanne Tibbs Family. In her latter days, she served as a fun and safe riding mount for the Tibbs’ twin boys, Austin and Dalton. The Tibbs Family would like to express their appreciation to Dr. Jim Baum who took the greatest care of Whitey up to her time of passing. The Scoop sends our warmest condolences to the all who loved Repeats Color Me In.
