Dear WHTA Members,

Happy New Year! Thank you for the honor of having me as your president. We had over 50% of the membership vote. That is a great response for any organization. We have a lot of work to do, but with everyone's help, we can continue in the right direction and have a great year. I want to be able to communicate with you quicker and on a more regular basis. The best way I know to accomplish this is by email. If you want to be informed, please email me your trainers number and email address to imdumas1@hughes.net .

I also have many committee appointments to make. If you would like to serve on one of these, please put this in your email also. We have a farriers seminar this Saturday, January 9, 8:00 am at the Blue Ribbon Room at the Celebration grounds in Shelbyville. Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend. I hope to see you there.

The draft for the upcoming Trainers vs. Trainers charity basketball game is Monday, January 11, 8:30 pm at the Shelbyville Recreational Center. Please come, we need players and coaches. Thanks again for electing me president and feel free to contact me anytime at my personal email address.
