World Champion Kat Man
Dude, a gentle giant
of a horse, was
euthanized on January
30, 2010 after
experiencing colic.
Surgery revealed a twist
in the small intestine
and most of the large
intestine was damaged.
A favorite on the TN
show circuit, Kat Man
Dude had many blue
ribbon titles to his
credit. Kat Man
Dude was the Novice Lady
Riders on Novice
Mares/Geldings World
Champion at the 2008
National Celebration
with Carla Brown in the
irons. He earned
Reserve World
Championships in 2005
with Polly Ware in the
saddle and in 2004 with
Ray Gilmer. This
talented, 12-year-old
gelding carried many
riders to victory
throughout his career,
including, Carla Brown,
Philip Trimble, Clay
Sanderson, Polly Ware,
and Ray Gilmer.

barn family who loved

the Brown's farm.
