Elizabeth
Diane Hopper Beaver, age 64,
passed away February 24, 2010 at
her home in Alamo, TN.
She is preceded in death by her
parents, McNeil Hopper and
Willie May Hopper, and a sister,
Peggy Neil Hopper Connell.
Ms. Beaver was a bookkeeper
by trade and an accomplished
musician by talent. She was an
organist for various local
churches for over 40 years. Ms.
Beaver also played the organ for
Walking Horse and Racking Horse
Shows across the country for
more than 30 years, and taught
piano for more than 20 years.
She is survived by her
children, Chris Beaver (Vickie)
of Alamo, TN and Kristina Beaver
Burks (Bubba) of Ripley, TN; her
brother, Michael E. Hopper of
Memphis; and her grandchildren,
John-Curry Burks and MaryAnn
Elizabeth Burks, both of Ripley,
TN; two nieces and seven
nephews; ten great nieces and
ten great nephews; 5 great-great
nieces and 11 great-great
nephews.
Services will be
held at the First United
Methodist Church in Alamo, TN,
February 27, 2010 at 2 p.m.,
with Rev. Rufus Moore and Rev.
Jerry Hassell officiating.
Burial will follow at Oakview
Memorial Gardens. Ronk Funeral
Home is in charge of the
services.
Pallbearers for
the service will be Danny Joe
Avery, Larry Coaltrain, Jimmy
Stephenson, Harrell Clement,
Eddie Brooks, Jeff Dodd and
Randy Joe Emerson. Honorary
Pallbearers will be her nephews,
Monte Connell, Sr., Frank
Connell III, Neil Connell, Shawn
Connell, Shane Connell, Mark
Hopper and Patrick Hopper.
