The Upper Cumberland Walking Horse Association has awarded scholarships to two of its members who attend Tennessee Tech University. 

Joanna Slagle, daughter of Ronnie and Peggy Slagle of Cookeville, TN, was one of the recipients. She is a Senior Nursing major and will graduate in the Fall of 2009. 

Alison Paige Reagan, daughter of Danny and Wanda Reagan of Niota, TN, also received a scholarship. She is a Junior Agribusiness Management Major.
