Horse Association Scar Rule
Clinic Postponed |
|
|
|
Wednesday, November 11,
2009
The Bluegrass Pleasure
and Walking Horse
Association (BPWHA)
would like to announce
that the scar rule
clinic originally
scheduled for Saturday
November 21st in
Lancaster Kentucky has
been postponed due to
the fact that the USDA
will be unable to attend
along with a last minute
schedule change that is
affecting the Horse
Protection Commission
(HPC). We are sorry for
any inconvenience that
this may cause and will
try our best to
reschedule as soon as
possible.
The
scar rule clinics
scheduled for Saturday
November 14th in
Prestonsburg, KY at the
Prestonsburg Equine
Center at 1900 Chassity
Road from 1 PM until 5
PM EST and for Sunday
November 15th in Bowling
Green, KY at Tommy
Loid's Barn at 1100
South McElwain Road from
1 PM until 5 PM CDT will
go on as scheduled and
we would like to invite
everyone to attend and
bring your horses.
Doctor Kingston and Dr.
Geibb will be in
attendance representing
the USDA and Donna
Benefield along with
DQP'S from the HPC will
be in attendance. The
USDA wil have a power
point presentation along
with literature to hand
out. Both the USDA and
the HPC will address the
attendees and will be
open to questions. The
USDA will also be
bringing the thermograph
machine to exhibit and
explain how the machine
is used.
Just a
reminder to everyone,
that no names of horses
will be taken, and no
tickets will be issued.
Everyone is welcome to
attend and bring show
horses of any breed or
discipline for
evaluation, with no
worry of being cited.

information please
